BBC Studios Kids & Family, Wheels in Motion, and Kadokawa are collaborating on a live-action television series adaptation of Eiko Kadono's novel Kiki's Delivery Service. The 10-episode series will be based on the first novel, similar to Studio Ghibli's 1989 anime film, and has received Kadono's approval. The project is intended to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the book series.
