Kirsten Dunst has joined the cast of A Minecraft Movie 2, with her casting confirmed by Deadline. She will appear alongside returning actors Jack Black, Jason Momoa, Danielle Brooks, Matt Berry, and Jennifer Coolidge. The sequel, directed again by Jared Hess, is scheduled for release on July 23, 2027.
