Legacy of Kain: Ascendance Review – Rising from the ashes
Legacy of Kain: Ascendance is a new action platformer that revisits the series' lore with a 16-bit pixel art style. Players control Kain, Raziel, and the new character Elaleth, filling narrative gaps between previous games. While the combat is solid and the voice acting and music are excellent, the gameplay can be repetitive and the visual style shifts in cutscenes are jarring.
