A Connecticut man, Ronnell Rogers, has been sentenced to six years in federal prison for possessing and distributing fentanyl and methamphetamine. Authorities found meth pills shaped like the video game character Mario, which could be mistaken for candy, along with other narcotics. This incident follows a 2022 public health alert in New York regarding a drug strain also labeled 'Super Mario'.
