Bungie has released patch 1.0.5.2 for its extraction shooter Marathon, addressing a movement exploit that allowed players to retain momentum after canceling slide animations. The studio stated that while such exploits can be entertaining, they are unhealthy for the game's intended pace and core philosophy of meaningful costs for rapid repositioning.
