Actor Simu Liu has indicated that positive updates regarding the Sleeping Dogs movie adaptation are forthcoming. The project, which is being directed by Timo Tjahjanto, has faced several delays since its initial announcement in 2017. The 2012 game Sleeping Dogs, developed by Square Enix, is an open-world action title set in Hong Kong.
