Mega Man voice actor announces he won't be back for Dual Override due to lack of "protections of a union contract"
Voice actor Ben Diskin announced he will not return to voice Mega Man in Mega Man: Dual Override due to the project not being unionized. Diskin, who voiced the character in Mega Man 11, stated he cannot risk working without the protections of a union contract, despite Capcom's assurances regarding AI usage. Mega Man: Dual Override is slated for a 2027 release on PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One & Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
