Meta will shut down VR Horizon Worlds access in June
Meta will discontinue virtual reality access to its metaverse platform, Horizon Worlds, on June 15, 2026. The company is shifting its focus to a smartphone version of the app and will remove VR-specific worlds and features from the Meta Quest store by March 31, 2026.
