Ukrainian developer 4A Games has unveiled Metro 2039, a new entry in the FPS series featuring a darker tone influenced by the ongoing war in Ukraine. The game follows a new protagonist, The Stranger, and incorporates themes of choice and consequence shaped by the developers' reality of making the game under rocket and drone attacks. Metro 2039 is set to release this winter for PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox.
