The next game in the Metro series will be titled Metro 2039, developer 4A Games has confirmed. Author Dmitry Glukhovsky, who has remained involved in the series' writing, stated that the upcoming title will be "darker than anything you've seen before." A full reveal is scheduled for April 16.
