Mewgenics is a bizarrely enjoyable roguelite that combines a turn-based combat system with a complex breeding mechanic to create a unique feline lineage. Despite a linear over-world that can slow the pace, the game's distinctive art style, personality, and interconnected systems make it a standout indie title. Minor crashes were encountered on Xbox Series X, but the overall experience is highly positive.
