Middle-earth RPG is Being Developed by a “Mind-Blowing Ready Team” at Warhorse Studios
Warhorse Studios is developing an open-world Middle-earth RPG as a passion project with a dedicated team. Communications director Tobias Stolz-Zwilling described the game as deeply immersive with a living world, interesting characters, and a strong narrative focus. The studio also confirmed that a new Kingdom Come adventure is in development, with the parent company Embracer Group aiming for a release between April 2027 and March 2028.
