Mojang has announced that the upcoming "baby mob update" for Minecraft will be officially named the Tiny Takeover drop. While a specific release date has not been provided, it is expected to launch in spring 2026. The update will include visual overhauls for 33 baby mobs, new craftable items like name tags and golden dandelions, unique spawn eggs for baby mobs, and a new note block called the trumpet.
