Miyamoto Isn't So Sure About A Smash Bros. Style Movie
Shigeru Miyamoto has expressed doubt about the possibility of a "Smash Bros.-style Nintendo Cinematic Universe" movie, stating that while Pikmin can appear in any Nintendo series, a full crossover event is unlikely. Illumination CEO Chris Meledandri clarified that any cameos in films like the Super Mario Galaxy Movie are incidental and based on what fits the project.
