Capcom announced at Summer Game Fest 2026 that the major expansion for Monster Hunter Wilds, titled Ascendance, will launch in 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC. The expansion will feature new sky-island locales, explosive new abilities, Elder Dragons, and Master Rank content, alongside improved traversal and combat mechanics.
