Despite setting launch records for Capcom in February 2025, Monster Hunter Wilds has seen a significant sales decline, selling only 132,000 copies in the last fiscal quarter. This performance is worse than its predecessor, Monster Hunter Rise, and its expansion, Sunbreak. Capcom hopes a planned large-scale expansion will help revitalize sales.
