Mortal Kombat 3 Not Confirmed Yet, But Director Sees Lots Of Potential For More Stories
Director Simon McQuoid expressed optimism about the potential for a third Mortal Kombat film, citing the rich universe and numerous characters to explore. While a third movie has not been officially confirmed, and Mortal Kombat 2's box office performance was below some expectations, McQuoid indicated a strong desire to continue the story if given the opportunity. NetherRealm Studios has not announced any new games in the Mortal Kombat series.
