Nintendo has released system update version 22.0.0 for the Nintendo Switch 2, introducing a 'Handheld Mode Boost' feature that enhances the performance of compatible Nintendo Switch games when played in handheld mode. The update also includes various other improvements such as enhanced GameChat functionality, new album features, and expanded airplane mode options. A separate update was also released for the original Nintendo Switch.
