Nintendo has confirmed that future versions of the Nintendo Switch 2 sold in Europe will comply with EU regulations regarding user-replaceable batteries. These compliant models will feature unique model numbers and the 'OSM' code on packaging, with the changes taking effect on February 18th, 2027.
