Nintendo explains approach to employee salaries, reports of 10% base bump are inaccurate

Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa clarified the company's approach to employee salaries, stating that initial reports of a 10% base salary increase were inaccurate, as that raise occurred in April 2023. Further salary increases, including for starting salaries, are planned for April 2026. Furukawa also confirmed that Takashi Tezuka is not retiring but will be stepping down from his executive officer role.
