Nintendo president apologizes for Switch 2 price increase, promises “robust software lineup” to make up for it
Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa has apologized for an upcoming price increase on the Nintendo Switch 2, which will see its price rise by $50 in the U.S. starting in September. Furukawa stated that Nintendo will focus on providing a robust software lineup to justify the new price and acknowledged the difficulty in absorbing rising costs.
