Nintendo Switch 2 digital games to cost less than physical versions in US
Nintendo has announced that digital versions of new Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive titles in the US will have a lower Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) than their physical counterparts starting May 2026. The company stated this change reflects the different costs associated with producing and distributing each format. The first affected game will be 'Yoshi and the Mysterious Book', with digital priced at $59.99 and physical at $69.99.
