The yuri manga "The Guy She Was Interested In Wasn't A Guy At All" is receiving an anime adaptation set for January 2027, announced by Crunchyroll at Anime Expo. Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters and Nirvana believes the late Kurt Cobain would have appreciated the series, which features Nirvana's song "Breed" as its opening theme and explores a relationship between two high school girls with a shared love for Western rock music.
