Nvidia is trying to push DLSS 5 again but this time only one game is using it
Nvidia is relaunching its controversial AI upscaling technology, DLSS 5, with support only in NBA 2K27. The technology was previously criticized for making games look worse and has been shown to decrease performance by up to 60% on supported hardware. Despite Nvidia's claims of photorealism, early examples and modded applications have yielded poor results across various game art styles.
