Outbound is a mellow survival and crafting game where players drive a camper van through a wilderness, foraging and upgrading their vehicle. Despite well-implemented mechanics and a pleasant environment, the game's lack of narrative, threat, or clear goals ultimately makes the experience feel hollow and dull.
