Palworld's Head of Publishing & Communications, John Buckley, received approximately 8,000 Discord messages from fans alerting him to the newly announced creature-collecting game, Pickmon. Buckley, who was en route to the Game Developers Conference, acknowledged the fan enthusiasm and the comparisons being made between Pickmon and games like Pokémon and Palworld, though he had limited time to investigate the new title and its developer, Pocketpair.
