A live-action Netflix adaptation of Atlus's Persona RPG series is reportedly in development, with Stranger Things production company 21 Laps and game-to-film specialists Story Kitchen attached. Christopher Monfette will serve as writer and showrunner, with Sega's Toru Nakahara as an executive producer. This news comes as Persona 5 has achieved significant commercial success, selling over 10 million copies, and with Persona 6 recently revealed.
