PlayStation Acquires Machine Learning Specialist to Achieve 'New Levels' of Game Visuals
Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced its agreement to acquire Cinemersive Labs, a UK-based company specializing in machine learning and computer vision. The team will join SIE's R&D division, the Visual Computing Group, to advance visual computing in games, applying machine learning to enhance graphics and rendering techniques.
