Pokemon Champions has introduced significant changes to staple mechanics like Paralysis and the move Fake Out, impacting established competitive strategies. These adjustments, which nerf the chance of paralysis immobilizing a Pokemon and restrict Fake Out's usage, are a major shakeup for the Video Game Championships (VGC).
