Pokemon Winds and Waves Officially Revealed for 2027
Nintendo and Game Freak have officially revealed Pokemon Winds and Waves, the next mainline titles in the series, set to launch exclusively for the Switch 2 in 2027. The games will feature an open-world island setting with underwater exploration and introduce new starter Pokemon: Browt (Grass), Pombon (Fire), and Gecqua (Water). The announcement was made during a Pokemon Presents showcase which also highlighted the upcoming release of Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness and Pokemon Champions on Nintendo Switch Online.
