Straight4 Studios has acknowledged that Project Motor Racing did not meet expectations upon its November release and has been working on updates. A significant update is planned for the end of March to improve the game's foundation and bring it closer to a serious motorsport title. The studio has released seven patches since launch, addressing player feedback and adding content like the 2013 Ford FG Falcon V8 Supercar.
