PS4 Shutting Down Service Many Didn’t Even Know Existed
Sony is shutting down the Trend Micro browser safety service for PlayStation 4 users, a feature that allowed filtering of unsuitable websites. Originally introduced on the PlayStation 3, the service will cease to be available for purchase on August 25, 2026, and will be fully discontinued on August 25, 2027.
