Rad Power Bikes gets a new owner, pledge to build bikes in the US
Life EV has completed a court-approved acquisition of Rad Power Bikes, a troubled e-bike brand. The new owner has pledged to honor existing warranties and build new bikes in the US. This acquisition follows a period of difficulty for Rad Power Bikes, including a Consumer Product Safety Commission warning about fire hazards associated with some of its e-bike batteries.
