Replaced Review – Stunning Style Meets Uneven Substance

Replaced is a visually stunning science fiction action-platformer set in an alternative 1980s America, following an AI trapped in a human body exploring a dystopian world. While its art style, animation, and score are exceptional, the game suffers from uneven pacing, particularly in its early hours, and gameplay mechanics that, while functional, lack deep engagement. The narrative explores themes of artificial life and corporate control, but the overall experience is a mixed bag of strong production values and somewhat hollow gameplay.
