Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami working on new 'original AAA' console game
Shinji Mikami, the creator of Resident Evil, is working on a new original AAA console game with his studio Unbound Games. The title is being developed in Unreal Engine 5 for PlayStation 5, Xbox, and PC. Mikami, who previously founded Tango Gameworks, left the studio in 2023 and established Unbound Games in May 2023.
