Resident Evil director Zach Cregger says a falling "zombie" nearly killed their lead actor, and that the moment is in the movie: "So it's f***ing worth it"
Director Zach Cregger revealed that a near-fatal stunt involving a falling "zombie" prop during the filming of Resident Evil was intentionally kept in the final movie. Lead actor Austin Abrams narrowly avoided serious injury when a 150-pound prop missed him by inches. Cregger also mentioned that Abrams sustained minor injuries throughout the production of the film, which is set to release on September 18.
