Riven co-creator Robyn Miller has defended his use of AI tools in creating artwork for the Riven soundtrack vinyl edition, stating that artists can use various tools. Fangamer, the publisher, has a policy against generative AI art but acknowledged they were not aware of the tools used for this specific project and offered no-questions-asked returns for unhappy customers.
