Saw: Genesis has a gnarly vision for asymmetrical multiplayer games, but the execution needs work – pun intended
Saw: Genesis aims for a complex asymmetrical horror experience where players as 'The Judge' punish victims through trials, while victims must cooperate to solve puzzles. However, the game currently suffers from a high skill entry level and a lack of intuitive gameplay, making player engagement difficult. Developers Broken Mirror Games and Anshar Studios, published by Bloober Team, are working on the PC version in Early Access, with a focus on improving approachability.
