Sega's cancelled Neptune console is finally a thing thanks to FPGA, and it's now running 32X games
A community team called GameCare is developing the "GF1 Neptune," an FPGA-based console that recreates Sega's cancelled all-in-one Genesis and 32X system. The remake is now functional with Mega Drive, Master System, and 32X games, and is slated for a 2026 release, though pricing and availability are currently unknown.
