Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto stated his ongoing mission is to incorporate Pikmin into as many Nintendo products as possible, seeing the creatures' appearance in The Super Mario Bros. Movie as a natural fit. The entire Pikmin series is currently available on Nintendo Switch.
