Filming for Sonic the Hedgehog 4 has concluded, with director Jeff Fowler calling it the best installment in the franchise. The movie is slated for a March 19th, 2027 release and will feature Metal Sonic. Paramount Pictures and Sega are also developing a separate "event film" within the same universe.
