Sony Pictures' Metal Gear Solid movie adaptation is resurrected, with the directors of last year's Final Destination: Bloodlines at the helm
Sony Pictures has tapped directors Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein to helm the Metal Gear Solid movie adaptation, replacing Jordan Vogt-Roberts who was attached since 2014. This new direction is part of a first-look deal with Sony that also includes an animated Venom movie and an original sci-fi project. While Hideo Kojima's involvement is unclear, producers Avi and Ari Arad remain attached, and Oscar Isaac was previously rumored to play Solid Snake.
