Sony to acquire AI and computer vision company Cinemersive Labs
Sony Interactive Entertainment has agreed to acquire UK-based machine learning and computer vision company Cinemersive Labs. The firm specializes in immersive 3D photography and video for VR and AR and will join SIE's Visual Computing Group to advance visual computing in games through machine learning and improved rendering techniques.
