Sony's $7.85M Settlement Could Mean PSN Payouts for Millions
Sony has agreed to a $7.85 million settlement in a US class-action lawsuit alleging monopolistic practices related to digital game vouchers. Millions of US consumers who bought digital games on the PlayStation Store between April 2019 and December 2023 may be eligible for compensation if the game previously had a retail voucher and its price increased after vouchers disappeared. A fairness hearing is scheduled for October 15, 2026.
