Spider-Man originally knocked out Hulk in Brand New Day, but test audiences hated it
An alternate ending for the Spider-Man movie fight against Hulk revealed that test audiences disliked the original vision where Spider-Man knocked out Hulk too easily. The ending was reshot to have Hulk sacrifice himself, a change that was ultimately preferred over the initial concept.
