Star Wars: X-Wing and MechWarrior veterans release In The Black, a "serious" space combat sim with Newtonian physics
Impeller Studios, led by veterans from Star Wars: X-Wing Alliance and MechWarrior 2: Mercenaries, has released In The Black, a new space combat simulator emphasizing realistic Newtonian physics and the pilot experience. The game is currently in early access on PC and supports various control inputs including HOTAS and Steam Deck, with plans for a full release after at least a year.
