Steam Controller Returns with New Version Launching May 4, 2026

Valve has announced a new version of the Steam Controller, set to launch on May 4, 2026, for $99. The controller will support PC, Steam Deck, and mobile devices, featuring dual trackpads, magnetic thumbsticks, a six-axis gyro, and a new Grip Sense feature. It includes four rear grip buttons, a wireless charging puck, Bluetooth and USB-C connectivity, and an estimated battery life of over 35 hours.
