Developer Shift Up announced Stellar Blade: Blood Rain, a follow-up to Stellar Blade, during Summer Game Fest. The new title features a new protagonist in a dystopian cyberpunk world, with a focus on melee combat and stylish flair. While Stellar Blade was a PlayStation 5 exclusive, Blood Rain will not be published by Sony and is in early development.
