Stranger Than Heaven is confirmed to be an origin story for the Yakuza series, detailing the founding of the Tojo Clan and following the character Makoto over 50 years. The game features a unique gameplay focus on music and band management, alongside a novel combat system where Makoto's limbs are controlled independently. It will be released on PlayStation 5 this winter and includes Snoop Dogg as the voice of a smuggler named Orpheus.
