Switch 2 Has Sold Just Shy Of 20 Million Units, Nintendo Lowers FY27 Forecast
Nintendo has reported that its new console, the Nintendo Switch, has sold nearly 20 million units since its launch in June 2025. Despite exceeding initial forecasts, the company has lowered its fiscal year 2027 sales projections due to concentrated launch year sales and anticipated price increases. Nintendo still expects to sell 16.5 million units with the new pricing.
